📊 Dashboard Guide
What You Can Do
- Quick Brain Dump – capture multiple tasks at once, one per line
- Track progress – see unprocessed tasks and completion stats
- Monitor productivity – view tasks completed today, yesterday, and last 7 days
- Click task names – see full details in expandable stat cards
Brain Dump
- Quick capture: Type or paste multiple tasks, one per line
- Press Ctrl+Enter or click "Add Tasks & Clarify"
- Automatically redirects to Clarify page to process new tasks
- Perfect for morning planning or capturing ideas quickly
Progress Stats
- Unprocessed: Tasks in your inbox that need clarification
- Completed Today: Tasks you've finished today
- Completed Yesterday: Tasks finished yesterday
- Completed Last 7 Days: Your productivity over the past week
- Each card shows a count and lists the actual tasks
💡 Tip: Use this dashboard as your starting point. Brain dump tasks here, then follow the workflow: Clarify → Organize → Focus.
🔍 Clarify Guide
What You Can Do
- Edit task title directly on each card
- Define the outcome – describe what "done" looks like
- Add small actions – break down into concrete next steps
- Check off small actions as you clarify each step
- Use AI chat to refine tasks and get suggestions
- Mark as clarified to move task to organize phase
- Delete tasks you no longer need
Task Card Features
- Title field: Click to edit task name
- Outcome field: Describe what success looks like
- Small actions list: Add checkable subtasks for next steps
- AI Chat button: Open chat to refine task with AI assistance
- Mark Clarified button: Complete clarification and move to organize
- Delete button: Remove task completely
Using AI Chat
- Click "Chat" button to open AI assistant
- Ask for help improving task description or outcome
- Get AI-suggested subtasks and small actions
- Review suggestions and click "Confirm & Apply" to update task
- Chat context stays locked to your task until you start a new chat
💡 Tip: Focus on one task at a time. Write outcomes as measurable results (e.g., "Email sent" not "Send email"). Add 1-3 small actions per task to make it actionable.
📂 Organize Guide
What You Can Do
- Toggle Urgent/Important flags directly on each task card
- Tasks move automatically between quadrants (Grid View) when you change priorities
- Reorder tasks within quadrants using ↑↓ arrows to set your focus order
- Assign categories to group related tasks
- Mark tasks complete by clicking the Complete button
- Edit inline – click title to modify task details
Views
- Grid View: See tasks in an Urgent/Important matrix (4 quadrants)
- List View: All tasks in one list with priority tags
- Calendar View: See scheduled tasks on a calendar
Filters
- Now (default): Tasks you can work on right now (unscheduled or scheduled for today, not waiting)
- Waiting: Tasks on hold pending external dependencies
- Completed: All completed tasks
💡 Tip: Start by moving inbox tasks to the appropriate quadrant – focus on Urgent & Important first. Use category filters to focus on specific areas.
🎯 Focus Guide
What You Can Do
- Use Pomodoro timer – 25 minutes of focused work
- Take breaks – 5-minute break after each session
- Complete small actions – check off subtasks as you work
- Track progress – see your completion percentage
- Mark task complete when all small actions are done
- Put on hold if blocked by external dependencies
- Exit focus mode to return to task list
Pomodoro Timer
- Start: Begin a 25-minute focused work session
- Pause/Resume: Pause the timer if you need a quick break
- Reset: Restart the current session
- Break mode: After completing a session, take a 5-minute break
- Notifications: Get browser notifications when sessions complete (if enabled)
Small Actions
- View all subtasks for the current task
- Click checkbox to mark each small action as complete
- Progress bar updates automatically as you complete actions
- Add new small actions using the "+ Add Small Action" button
- Small actions help break down work into manageable chunks
Put on Hold
- Use "Put on Hold" when task is blocked
- Describe why you're waiting (e.g., "Waiting for client response")
- Optionally set when you can resume
- Task moves to "Waiting" status and shows on Organize page
- Resume later by clicking "Resume" in the Organize view
💡 Tip: Disable notifications during focus sessions. Complete at least one Pomodoro before taking a longer break. Use the timer to build sustainable work rhythms.
